As a doctoral candidate at La Trobe University, Amy is exploring the experience of eating disorders in the prison setting. Passionate about advocating for marginalised communities, Amy hopes to shed light on an underacknowledged issue, and help build pathways to improved prevention, identification and response to eating disorders in correctional settings. ​

Amy is a member of the BEWT Research Team and is supervised by Professor Leah Brennan, Dr Daniel Simsion and A/Prof Anita Raspovic. ​

Her research is informed by voices of lived and living experience.​
